Good watch, small issue

I bought the 1926 At'sea watch and generally, it's a solid timepiece. The design is really clean and it keeps time well. Shipping took a little longer than I expected, around 10 days to my address, but it did arrive safely. I also got some extra links which was nice. My only complaint is the leather strap felt a bit stiff at first, it took a few days to break in properly. Overall, a good experience, but that strap could be softer out of the box.

Nice watch, quick shipping

I ordered a 1969 Vintage watch and it arrived pretty fast, about 6 days to get to my place in California. The watch looks great and feels good on the wrist. Really happy with it.

Love my new timepiece!

I just received my 1815 Chronograph with custom engraving and I'm absolutely loving it! The watch itself is stunning and the engraving came out perfectly, exactly how I pictured it. It arrived super well-packaged and the watch roll it came with is a really nice touch. The whole process was smooth from start to finish. I'm already thinking about my next purchase, maybe a NATO strap for a different look. Definitely recommending them to my friends!

Does anyone know if they offer any kind of student discount? My friend got one for another watch brand but not sure about this one.

T Tom 2 months ago
I think they do! I remember seeing something about it last semester when I was looking for a grad gift. Check their site, it might be in the FAQ somewhere.

Pretty sure they have one. Worth a quick search on their website, usually a link at the bottom of the page or something.

Is it true you can't combine discount codes? Like if I have a newsletter sign-up deal, can I also get free engraving?

P Phil 1 month ago
Nah, usually it's one code per order. I tried to stack a Black Friday deal with a first-time buyer thing and it didn't work. Had to pick one.

Afaik most places are like that, just one discount at checkout. Free engraving usually shows up automatically if it's a promo though, not a 'code'.

Does anyone know if these are legit, like actual quality watches? I see 'vintage-inspired' and sometimes that means cheap imitations.

M Mia C. 1 month ago
They're totally legit. Not 'luxury' in the Rolex sense, but really solid quality for the price. The vintage aesthetic is just that, an aesthetic, not an excuse for cheap parts. Got an automatic from them, runs great.

Oh yeah, they're the real deal. Scandinavian design, good movements. Not knock-offs at all. Definitely worth the money for what you get.

I'm looking at the 1971 Automatic, but I'm worried about sizing. How accurate are their measurements, or should I go with my usual watch size?

L Laura 2 months ago
Their measurements are usually spot on. I'd trust what they list on the product page. You can always check their return policy if you're super worried.

Just measure your wrist and compare it to the case size. My 1969 Vintage fit exactly as expected based on their specs. Returns are pretty straightforward if it doesn't work out.

Thinking of getting the 1926 At'sea. How do these compare to, say, a Baltic Aquascaphe? Is the quality similar?

C Cody T. 1 month ago
I've got both, and honestly, the About Vintage feels a bit more refined, if that makes sense. Baltic is great, but the AV has a slightly more premium feel to me. Both good for the price though.

Dan Henry is probably a closer comp for the vintage vibe. About Vintage definitely punches above its weight compared to something like a Skagen, though.
